friendships take work, time, effort, and even planning at times...
so if I've neglected you in that way at all... you can either feel free to be offended, sad, taken aback knowing it's not my common fare, or you can simply step up to the plate and put in your side of the boardwalk buddy!
I randomly was thinking of an old[school] friend today... didn't know where he was, what he was up to, how he might or might not be doing spiritually, or anything! So I did some foot work... went straight to my google-meister and found squat *growl* (lucky him, living a life quite incognito, bearing a run of the mill name & all!) back-up plan: call the 'rents!
left an explanatory message of wanted contact on their machine, eloquently stated my name, number, & purpose... later repeating my name & number so that they wouldn't have to hear it all again just to respond, and viola! I got me a call back with all the info I could ever ask for as to how to track him down.
Just got off the phone, after a loverly phone call playing u:ber catch up (I seriously don't think I've seen him since high school... if not only once since then!) & now hope to continue to do my part in not letting communication slide... 'cause it would be a shame to once again lose contact with such a great & Godly human being, not to mention a friend!
