so I'm back in the saddle, so to speak. can't hear a thing, but I'm in the office fakin' it with the best of 'em!
meanwhile, dude, it's really snowing! which obviously makes me start to see things a little brighter (so I've had a bugger of a couple of weeks, toss in some sickness *tries hard to refrain from singing Weird Al's version o' 'your mother get up, c'mon get down with the sickness' to no avail*, and a little pity-partying... and you've got a recipe for depressing disastrous diva-tude!)
there's more where that came from...
I love the snow... I love driving in the snow... I just don't like other dork drivers who mess things up and are scary in the snow... I especially love driving in the snow with super festive música...
you see, I figure: I can drive it out, slowly but surely. Taking my time, enjoying the excitement of it all, it's really not all that stressful. It's like time begins to stand as still as possible with this weather. Works understand if your slightly of schedule, people arrive as they can, for the most part people understand that the theory of rushing is entirely out of question. It re instills an atmosphere of community and fellowship; people stop and help, pause to catch up and possibly share stories. Winter is my favorite time of year, throw some snow on the ground, let me see my breath, toss a furry eared hat on my head and a cute leopard print scarf around my neck, and I'm a happy girl!
Now, if I could just get this ear to clear up...
On that note: I went to the doctora again just now. Got more narcotic meds, and she looked to see that indeed it is looking better (despite the persistent pain and pluggedness). She also ordered some tests of various sorts to rule out other reasons I've been all woosy of late.
...enough already!
