I'm heading off to our 2nd Annual Auction Gala for Helping Hands.
complete with total congestion, throbbing headache, and a face puffy enough to put StrongSad to shame (not that it takes much to do that ;)!)
I understand most wouldn't expose others to themselves when in such a state, but I'm obliged to be there, and it's always good to schmooze, and stuff for the greater good of the organization. Plus perhaps, this will only further prove my sincere dedication towards the "job".
pray for me!? I can barely focus with my eyes, let alone keep them completely open...
