ok, so the friday five is on a hiatus for the week... she's entitled, no?
but tirande stepped up to the plate and posted a five of her own [as shawn so graciously pointed out] for people to enjoy and/or participate in!
I'm game...
- Have you ever crushed on a person, who you knew you couldn't have? who was it, and what happend? I try my dangedest not to discuss such matters... but inevitably, I've certainly "crushed" and dealt (albeit poorly) with the reverberating ramifications of the perceived rejection... [vague enough for you?]
- If money was no object, what would you want most in the world? immediate reaction: a pimped out rv... flat out!
- they say if you love someone, let them go. if they come back to you, it was meant to be. do you believe that quote? why or why not? *further reminded of "The Nibble Theory"* I'm pretty sure I remember Dobson speaking directly to this, in this very regard, in Life on the Edge... something about having to step back, and let the other figure it all out (all the while dying inside)... or maybe that was his wife. Either way I remember it really impressed me and has always been how I'd hope I could handle such a situation...
- Don't let me see mistakes and lies
Let me keep my faith and innocent eyes. what do you wish you could have remained innocent about?(meaning, what do you wish you never really found out?) *scenes from court this week re-flood mind* honestly... mostly a whole lot/everything about my job. I mean, yeah: good to know, eyes more aware, people getting help, etc. But there are just some circumstances, people I know directly, cruddy stuff that goes on in this very town I so cherish and grew up in as innocently as possible... that has just thrown my whole world around! Could've lived my whole life without knowing and felt much more... I don't know "innocent"? - What was the happiest thing that happend to you this week? some good laughing times with the familia on wednesday when we took nela to UofO *giggle*
more in depth pondering: a plane, with a private pilot, so I could commute at whim to and fro (toting along eager pals) betwixt usa & argentina... *sigh*
in fact I've done it before, only to find they weren't what He had in store for me... [I guess]
must remember to quote in full sometime...
also, in theme with tonight's movie selection/s, the timely results of another quiz:

I'm sure it's no big surprise to you that your romance is The Princess Bride. A heartwarming tale of "Twue Wuve" that has giants, Spainards and swashbuckling. You really do think that love can overcome anything. You may be a touch naive but your heart is certainly in the right place. You've probably got one of those relationships where proper nouns have been replaced with "Snookums" and "Pookie Pie". Eww. Beware a cuteness overload.
