there's more where that came from...
we're in preparation mode, or perhaps denial on the part of the girls, for a new arrival tomorrow afternoon.
I don't usually go out looking for kitties, and I don't feel like that's what was done here either. I was looking through the classifieds at work (a daily effort) and saw one of the millions of "free kitty" ads... this one was for "a special kitten".
Come to find he's weensy, somehow separated from mom... and the lady that has him can't feed him as often as may be needed, and needs someone who can. Not to mention he's supposedly gray and male, which is what I'd been contemplating the day before when thinking "would I take in another stray?"
So tomorrow I'll meet them at McDonald's (I'm telling you... amancay+fast food=more cats!) and we'll give this little bugger at least a trial run with the gals of the house.
...enough already!

ho hum...
I've worked myself into a conundrum... I created this lush world in my head, where I work my hours, run around town greeting the people who are special to me, then head home for an action packed evening with the couch and [me] the potato sitting on it, and/or the internet and a bajillion fun, interesting things to do and people to talk with.
there's more where that came from...
Eventually reality had to hit.
- #1) I'm wiped, the late hours and early mornings caught up to me like nobody's business.
- Second, everyone's schedules are all in a flux, making everyone in the height or beginning of their obligations... just as I finish mine. Grr!
- Then, we've got the whole: the world's on hiatus (both on the weblog world and on television), get yourself a good book girlie!
- Finally... there's my inevitable tenacity to hang around for the mere possibility of moments of quality interaction with my fellow internet folk (hey, I even figured out how to stay connected with my aim account on my phone... leaving another plugged in with trillian!)
Sounds pathetic, I know. I'm well aware of this fact!
Maybe a new kitty will be coming and he'll surely distract me from my woes of abandonment... and Oma's here for the summer as well, so I can go hang with her!
*pleading* Lord send Creation soon!
...enough already!
