so I've been drooling over various digi-cams for a while now. I had decided on a Sony Mavica, until I talked to some people. One in particular, had experienced his Canon side by side with a Mavica and was less than impressed by the Sony's lack of clarity and quality. Since I trust actual hands on and direct eye sight contact more than anything else, especially from people I know... I was convinced to keep treking.
at a nothingevents concert a bit back, I was taken back by the quality of the images (I got to fiddle) the antihell guy had on his S110. He works for DaKine, and had various action-shots on that thing that looked clear as day to me... plus he says he uses such shots in bagazine ads! Works for me, I went straight home and searched around the net.
I soon found that the Canon S230 was on it's way out to the public, and was definitely my choice.
I got a delivery of books last week, that included an advertisment [pronounced without the "eye" sound, accenting the "er"] for this week's digi-cam sale (among other things). I just checked it out, and placed an order... it may not be until next month than anything is even shipped but I'm still stoked!
Now, who wants to help me figure out how to set up a nice little [did I just say little? ha!] photoblog?
