big thanks to jolene for this week's questions
- What is your most prized material possession? I've always chalked that one up to my SLR that was originally my father's camera... that he acquired when I was barely a tot. Once I got into photography in 8th grade or so, he handed it down to me, and I've treasured it ever since. Granted, the bugger doesn't want to properly function anymore... it requires some major handyman intervention. I still love it and all it represents!
- What item, that you currently own, have you had the longest? Mr. Pink Panther. (I'm gonna have to run around taking pics as soon as I get my digi-cam in my hands.) I got him for my first birthday (or was it Christmas? there's a picture somewhere...) from my aunt Jenni. He's worn and torn, but much loved!
- Are you a packrat? flat out!
- Do you prefer a spic-and-span clean house? Or is some clutter necessary to avoid the appearance of a museum? I prefer cleanliness... however living on my own, it turns into the latter more oft. I can hardly get myself home often enough to put even a small dent into the orderliness of the place!
- Do the rooms in your house have a theme? Or is it a mixture of knick-knacks here and there? um, I have one room: a studio apt with a mud-room turned bedroom. All walls are white, lined with shelves and stuff since storage was not a theme when the place was built. Cats have become the theme, since they run the place and some gift & hand-me-down decors have all been cat items.
