okay, since we all know the Super Bowl is really all about the commercials, here's my run down/commentary.
note: I'm re-watching the game commercials on my pvr, since it was butt hectic at the Anderson's today amidst the crowd and explicit "sexist seperation" [it was all in jest... we hope!]
- Honda: wave searchers why? dumb surfers never sold me anything before...!
- MickeyD's: exhausted men "that's what I love about that woman!" will be a classic line... great television folks!
- Jimmy Kimmel had me rolling my eyes by the end of the night, ho hum...
- NFL video game: last peice of pizza even Ian appreciated the entertainment value here!
- Pizza Hut: "something special" clever... yet sad!
- The Life of David Gale looks intriguing!
- The Practice: new night, new time screw that! for the record... it's not a better night, it's not a better time.... couldn't be a worse night or a worse time... we had to hold an emergency family meeting (okay, perhaps I'm exagerating... but you get my drift!) just to coordinate coverage [9pm: The Practice-abc; Raymond-cbs; 3rd Watch-nbc; Everwood-wb] In the end the wb has Easy View sundays..., mom will record 3rd Watch and Ray (whilst watching the Practice with Nela) and I will pvr The Practice since it's Dawn's b-day par-tay! phew! got that?
- Budweiser: referee *tee hee*
- Quiznos: total dedication only ecentrics could "get" that... hrm
- oooh yea... here comes one of my faves Pepsi Twist: The Osbournes one can't help but giggle! ironically I was drinking a twist at the time without realising it. I later got up to get coffe and Adam made a comment about me not zipping open my head!
- FedEx: Cast Away I feel as though I've seen this before, am I imagining things? still funny none the less
- Hulk I grew up in the 80's, bring it!
- Dodge: beef jerky gross! apparentally something rather close to this actually happened to Nich
- Matrix2 got the room quiet, as all heads turned... we're big fans
- Gatorade: Jordan� some good techy stuff!
- ESPN: kitchen *matter of fact, dull drum voice* "bling bling"
- Anger Management Sandler and Nicholson, that pair alone has got to be good for some laughs
- H&R Block: Willie Nelson poor guy!
- Bud: hand walker no one needs to see that... or even have to think about it!
- CheckCard: Yo! a bit obnoxious, interesting at first, nothing will ever beat Charlie and Martin Sheen, baby!
- Bud: no pets we be jammin'!
- Sierra Mist: fire hydrant uh huh, the dig's smile is the only thing that makes it work!
- Hanes: Jackie Chan the pure idea of a tagless tee has me paying attention
- Sierra Mist: monkeys they're monkeys... of course I give them a thumbs up!
- Levis: buffalo run don't get it, don't really want to
- Crazy that's just "crazy"
- Smirnoff: the Brad nice cover! why can't all guys be like that? (oh wait, I'd never be in a bar waiting for a "blind" date!)
- [my fave by far!] Suburban: trunk monkey what we all need for road-ragers... a rabid monkey!
- Burgerville: shakes homage to shakes won't move me for a while to come... [don't forget that's about all I had for 40 days]
- Bruce Almighty Jim Carey, as God? what is this world coming to?
- Pepsi: mud moshing #2 thing you don't even want to imagine your parents doing... let alone see it!
- hotjobs: Rainbow Connection a la classy Gap commercials, I like hearing real people sing tight songs!
- Bud: mom boy better start singing "I Like Big Butts"
- Subway: dreamin' if I never see Jared again, I would live...
- Marijuana: grandparents that was just weird... you couldn't really tell where they were going or which message they were sending. thumbs down
- George Foreman I was digging it on the geekiness alone, add in a little boy speaking spanish, I'm tickled!
- Reebok: linebacker whoop those office monkeys into shape! Adam thought it was very funny
- Bud: 3-armed Teck$ only Teck would try and pull that level of smarmy off
- VWBeetle: square don't quite get it. Ben said, "I was feelin' it!"
- Bud: listener this brought wide-spread reaction as I dissed the guy, j dissed the girl for "obviously talkin' too much" [some guys don't get when it's ok to kid... ;)]
- mlife: antique "diddly-squat" muy gracioso... very funny. at least this year we know what mlife is!
- Bud: dd that poor guy, no one's ever toldhim how it works 'round here!
- Mastercard: priceless #413 leaving "cash" at home... took me a bit to grab on to the dead president factor... great portrayal
- Terminator 5 can't we let a good robot retire... or at least the austrian actor?
