Phew! It's all over... I can eat/chew again! *songs to the tune of "Human Again" are running through her head*
Sara and I met up in P-land [ok, it was Gresham] for all-you-can-eat shrimp at the Red Lobster. It was superb, delish, the bomb, wonderful, amazing, succulent... oh so yummy!
Since there were two of us we were able to get the whole shebang (all four varieties of shrimp. We cleaned out the scampi and the battered... and asked for more. After a couple small bites of the more we packed it up and sent it home for her madre. Between biscuits (we all know how I feel about them biscuits), salad (oh so crunchy... mmm! delight.), a lighthouse margarita, fries, and all that shrimp, I didn't need to eat anything else all day long (not that I'm complaining in the least!
Afterwards we headed over the Old Navy for some clearance shopping. I got a tight [in the cool sense, not the snug one] pair of plaid pants, a long semi-cord/semi-jean skirt, and pink socks. Then it was off to Borders to select a new journal for Miss Moore. I found a couple cute cards (I'm always on the look-out to have them on hand) and a monkey bookmark!
By that time my back was freaking out (major muscle issues: a spiritual attack, for sure) so we headed home.
