I had meant to do this yesterday, but (as you can see) life has been overriding my ability to take the time to post.
Of course, once I head off on a fast, christine questions us on food...*sigh*
there's more where that came from...
- Christmas dinner: turkey or ham (or something else)?
I'm a yummy dead bird fan myself, although this year it looks like maybe a turkey broth will have to do the trick!
- Candy canes or chocolate?
neither, unless you can come up with white chocolate and/or cinnamon canes
- Fruit basket or fruitcake?
"pan dulce" is the sickest thing I could ever conjure up in my mind
- Mulled cider or mulled wine?
mmmm cider
- Eggnog or hot chocolate?
eggnog, my enthusiasm for the lattes is insatiable
- Holiday cookies: homemade or store-bought?
homemade, my mom's even taken to making her own candy and chocolates
- Roasting chestnuts or popping corn?
we don't do either... I am a big popcorn fan anytime! (only food the kitties don't go after)
- On the buffet table: veggie platter or cheese tray?
veggies and chips
- Apple or pumpkin pie?
pumpkin (unless Thai is around... then there may be none! *giggle*)
- Christmas Day breakfast: before or after gift-opening?
we've done both... obviously, we all prefer the after!
