PromoGuy's been on a bit of a hiatus, but the Monday Mission is nonetheless in full swing!
- What's the most expensive meal you've ever eaten? What was the occasion? Was it worth it? I went all out at the Olive Garden during a training a while back. I got the Lobster Spaghetti [yumm!] and treated myself to the best glass of wine I've ever tasted (after a recommendation and a taste, I was in... I'm not a big wine fan!) Since the meals were "on the job" and I hadn't eaten out much the whole training, I figured I deserved it [or at least I could get away with it!]
- What do you like to do when nobody is looking? pluck... no, not "cluck", that's for chickens. Plucking invloves tweezers, patience, a bit of pain tolerance, and tiny hairs.
- What's your special purpose? laughter and love by the grace of God
- Do you like Autumn? If so, why? If not, tell me about your favorite season. yes, falling leaves, fun to stomp on oak balls, beautiful scenery (did I just say that?), leading to winter...
- Ever recommended a movie to someone only to have them hate it? Which movie? Did you feel uncomfortable about that? I'm usually a good judge of movies, especially once I've seen them. If I'm not to sharp on someone's tastes I'll give a wavering review and/or recommendation.
- Do you have any allergies? Anything that just gets you down for the count? Oddly enough, I'm allergic to oranges and pineapple. They make my mouth break out dreadfully at only a small bite.
- Do you like mixed drinks? What is your favorite? As long as we're here how about you order me something too? Just "suprise me!" I'm a margarita girl at heart... But Rache has gotten me to get vodka with cranberry juice, on occasion.
Specifically I can think of two incidents:
First, AI... I knew it was more of a Kubrick film than a warm-fuzzy Speilberg. We went as a rather large group, and I was running late. (Dan was patiently waiting outside the theater for me with my ticket, as they held our seats inside. [I miss Dan!]) Once we had watched the film and walked outside again, I realised April was there. Had I any clue she had been there, I would have warned her that this was not a movie she would enjoy [simply based on the reviews I had read online the night before.] She wasn't too pleased with my assumption... yet, push come to shove, she admitted to having hated it! Bingo!
Second, Sara and I headed off to see The Talented Mr. Ripley. Who could go wrong with Matt Damon and/or Jude law, right? wrong! Not only was I appalled at what I saw before me, but Sara actually stood up [as the credits rolled by] and said that the movie was so awful she wasn't going to pay me back. Leaving me with having paid for two entries to the worst movie ever made!
BONUS: Why do we scream at each other? 'cause we're messed up!
