Christine is taking issue with Brendan's take on TiVo's future and Mike's response to it... so here's my 2 cents:
I have dish network's PVR reciever... and I simply can't get enough of it! I often go up to my mom's house to watch stuff that's on at the same time as others [The Practice & Boomtown, West Wing & Amazing Race 2, Judging Amy & NYPD Blue, etc.]... and miss it dearly (think: Nela & I talking and/or asking about West Wing political stuff... and mom [easily angered during favorite shows] missing a key part of dialogue... In such situations it's always nice to have the ability to rewind!) Not to mention to ease of recording... so easy in fact, that I find myself recording too much. example: I just found old Felicity episodes daily on WE; we lost the WB locally after the first year!
