grr! I'm totally messed up around here. Either that or I'm a complete dork! I just realized I walked out on the second half of 3rd Watch... so no spoiling! Although a quick call to mom guarantees me a saved vhs copy, I'm still perturbed with myself!
there's more where that came from...
Between Daylight Saving [no 2nd s] Time, crossing a couple time zones, and the mere fact that the Central Time Zone "Powers That Be" find it necessary to air everything an hour earlier than everywhere else, I've lost all sense of time: I sat through an intriguing Boston Public (sans enough Joey for me to give up just yet!) then settled in for the 2 hours of Third Watch... After bawling my eyes out over what seemed like an intensely packed episode, I was still wide awake. So, I re-dressed and headed down the hall to hit the net at the "Business Center". Twiddled around a bit. Came back to my room. Glanced at the microwave clock... Thought profusely (is that even possible?) Flicked the tv back to NBC. Kicked myself in the butt. Called mom. Began this writing.
Grr!
...enough already!

figure I'd take advantage of everything at my accessibility here: from the wake-up calls (let's pray they remembered and/or figured out how to fix the time since Daylight Saving Time...) to free soda and water in my fridge, from making my bed to providing towels, from yummy breakfast (you can make your own belgian waffles) to the indoor pool, and from the internet "room" to the massive cable... I'm enjoying it all (minus my own idiosyncrasies)

I keep coming back here to check and see if my bud Ramiro is online... no such luck for me. We hadn't talked in a long while, but the other day we somehow caught each other at the right time and had a wonderful conversation. Lately I find myself appreciating such moments with great intensity, what with my sudden hermit mode having kicked in. I've hardly spent quality time with anyone of late... [note to self: work on that!]

I'm diggin' this Boston Public/Joey McIntyre thing! Sure, he hasn't had much chance to act... But keep my boy singing and I'll be happy.

*swoon* It sends me back to the excitement of New Kids appearances back in middle school ("Funky, Funky Christmas" on Arsenio was the best). I literally just jumped up from the cush of the bed, to seat myself on the edge of it (right in front of the television), as my heart skipped a beat... wishing I had my PVR!
We love you Joey! Keep up the grade A entertainment.
...enough already!
