Nela comes home, visibly upset/emotionally distraught... as she rushes by huffingly shuffling about the house I ask, "What's up?"
"I'm just waiting for this to be over", she snips.
Some background: last friday Mr. Poop-head [Rob] broke up with my little sister! Completely out of the blue as far as she was concerned... claiming a need to be un-worried about someone else, not wanting to be tied down, still being friends, etc. Since then there have seemingly been various extensive chats/talks covering how to handle social situations, class seating arrangements, and who knows what else.
Back to the Future (er um, Present): Tonight was the HRV Homecoming Week Bonfire. Nela goes over the Rob's to give him a ride (pre-planned I'm not too sure) since his license is suspended (something about a speeding ticket). Apparently he had made other accommodations and had to grab the phone to tell her he was covered...
Hopping Back into the DeLorean [to the Past]: Throughout their relationship Canela had only one concern with 'another girl'... that girl being Miss Liz, who Rob had had inclinations towards before he ever went after Nela... & who has continued to have obvious and admitted inclinations towards Rob even after he was with my sister... Hmmmm!
Now: Liz's cell phone number just came oozing out of his dialing fingers, suspicious move numero uno, "It's an easy number!" he claims in his defense. Admitting they've been spending more time talking, AIMing, etc he assures Nela that he's not ready for another relationship, isn't pursuing her, wants to just have "random" hook ups. Later, at the actual bonfire, actions speak louder then words (like the way I'm completely integrating the Relient K "Hello McFly" theme into this run down!?) Rob proceeds to follow this Liz around like a lost puppy dog... walking around with just her... heading off with her... basically throwing it all in my girl's face!

who could hurt that face?
It makes me sick! I can't help but jump up and wave flags in Nela's honor. Girl don't deserve this boy-ish behavior that throttles her very being day in and day out. My heart hurts even thinking about it!
...enough already!
