*sniff* even my house reeks of yummy chori-panes... Mid-Columbia Centro Cutural served up a supper to die for this evening for Families in The Park. I happily took money (and was willing to split the profits, but they wouldn't go for it...shucky darn!) while Dardo played asadero, mi papi put chorizos in the panes, Carol administered chimichurri (ok, so maybe "administered" wasn't a great choice in words), and farther down the line ensalada and gaseosas were some how delivered. All in all I think it went rather well. Aside from the broken records explaining "Chorizo: it's Argentine sausage", "It's not spicy", "Chimichurri: it's what Argentines put on the chorizo... it's good, you'll like it!", & "It's not Mexican food, the paper was wrong", and last but not least "$5 a plate... there's only chorizo [no hamburgers, no hot dogs]" people were pretty open to the new menu. I might have chosen to not sit 'in the line of fire' so to speak (I was directly in front of the billows smoke from the grill... I came out all nucky and steamy grease smoked... ness!
So, now that I've taken a shower, I still can smell it in my house... needless to say, my windows are all open now! [and Kitties are happy]
On an entirely different note: this is truly what amazon boxes were made for. right?
That's how it is in my house at least. I'm telling you, they know when Mr. UPS guy is coming... and they get stoked!
Oh, and one more thing...um how do I say this? "Levi and I used to hit butts!" *bursts into insane giggles, making it impossible to adequately correct myself* It's not quite as useful and snazzy as a "Pump N' Munch", but it will be forever imprinted in our memories!
