Even camping, I can't keep myself from finishing the friday 5.
This week, donna asks us a bit about our wardrobe (or lack there of?):
there's more where that came from...
- What's your favorite piece of clothing that you currently own?
My brand spankin' new stripey shirt(s)!
- What piece of clothing do you most want to acquire?
Some tight designed Docs, a nice leather jacket, or a purple hoody with a meaning full message (or just some sweet monkeys!)
- What piece of clothing can you not bring yourself to get rid of? Why?
My "middle school & beyond" Silvertab jeans, they've become so terribly thin that they tear just if you look at them. But they're so danged comfy, not to mention stylin' (I've patched 'em at least 5 times with cool stuff.)
- What piece of clothing do you look your best in?
My two blue dresses, staples in my classy/business attire.
- What has been your biggest fashion accident?
Do we really have to go there? Honestly, I don't know, I can't think of anything.
Oh wait, in Argentina (I've been saying that a lot lately, huh?) I tried to stick to my guns when it came to my moda... Let's just say that no one should try and make argentine teens understand forest green long johns peeking out of tattered (aka "air conditioned",) almost black, semi stone-washed jeans. Throw a hooded flannel in the mix, and you've created confusion for the masses!
So what's hiding in your closet?
...enough already!

Ever had that 'not enough hugs for the day' feeling? You know, where you just kinda need 'em... I'm admittedly a touchy feeley person, so cold frozen greetings suck, from my perspective.
Lucky for me, in Argentina it is customary to greet everyone with a kiss on the cheek (unless you're a 'gotta be macho-er than that' teen/guy greeting another of the same genre.) Thought it may sometimes take you a bit to make your way around the room... many might take actual offense if you were to come or go without the usual salutation! Maybe that's where my dire need for actual greeting recognition comes from...
Either way (did I even give you a second possibility? I don't think so!) I want hugs! Maybe others don't want to give them to me... and I certainly am not usually one to push. Heck, I especially won't ask when I am probably in the most need for one, out of fear of rejection... or worse yet: an insincere embrace!
there's more where that came from...
This sounds all depressing and stuff, so I'm going to leave at that... ponder, wonder, and hug!
On a brighter note: I'm packin' my bags and heading up to Bird Lake with my familia for a long weekend of relaxation and acampando!
...enough already!
