do the "do"

Pink & green "do"s have become the craze! The majority of our group has been involved either in styling or bearing these ravishing looks. Danny's got the rock*star/Martin Smith look. Chris left as an Oompa Loompa a la Incredible Hulk. Aaron just walked by me with aprox. 5 random tiny pink spikes. Dane went all out, as might be expected. While Tarn's style has progressed more and more punky as the day wore on.

tribal rhythms

I'm sitting here, amidst what could only be considered a drum circle. Boys a plenty, pounding away. Tor, Hans, Ty, Josh, Topher, Ben, & more... This is what some of the best Creation memories are made of! That, and flying tents *tee hee*

shut down!

Dane: *arms wide open & approaching* "hug?"
Tarnna: *tired, groany, whiny, moan* "why?"
I would've peed my pants if I wasn't sweating off all of my liquid intake!

a friend indeed

It's so refreshing to know that despite any miscommunication, extreme emotions, or rare occurrences of strife... there are friends who are there for life. They've got my back. I can completely open myself up without fear of ridicule or condemnation. That is true kinship in Christ!

I'm doing the upper lip, check your nose temp, thing because it's butt cold out! I'm opting for the sleep with a hoody method tonight. That is if I ever get to sleep! Mr. Kingrey (perfectly positioned in the tent closest to mine) is sawing logs like there's no tomorrow! Plus, people are still bustling around trying to claim their patch of grass to sleep on [outside.]

Tonight Tor led me on a search for worship. We settled in just at the end of our isle. There were a few drums, and a plethora of distracting pyromaniacs. Once again, Dave (Mr. Forefront... could be TobyMac Guy) was hanging around trying to drum up (oops! no pun was intended) some worship. In the end we got in a few good songs, and a wonderful "God thing" (at least for me.) It was all just what The Doctor ordered.
