though I may be great at hiding it, I've been dealing with some major faith issues lately... and it's come to a head with my infamous migraines.
I was actually working last night when my vision went kaput and my wonderful friends the Beckman's had to come and escort me home. I laid around trying to sleep/ignore it... and basically had an extremely non-productive evening compared to my previous plans.
After all that extra sleep, I woke up bright and early this morning... only to be revisited by the migraine brothers (just who are they? couldn't tell ya, it just flew out) about an hour later. Problem being, I had a major obligation at work today. We had a site visit/evaluation/review thing, as per the grant that covers my position with SCF[DHS]. So I called prayer warrior Dawn Rand... 'splained the sitch (I'll have to admit that one's from Kim Possible) and she prayed... followed by the simple (yet unsurprising) statement that "it's a faith thing... and until it's there, it won't go away"
For a bit of background: as I explained to Lynn, my finances are not in abundance (but we all know God's bigger than that!)... and Tuesday culminated with my needing new brakes! Grrrr! Praise God He sent me an angel via a Tow Company bud! I've got the whole super-busy work thing, and Creation is just around the corner (and I still have to clean out my car.)
On a positive note: not longer after Dawn's prayer, I felt great (compared to a run of the mill migraine!) Isn't God awesome!?!
