Another episode of the Olypmics was kicked off just now. I watched it take off with my dad and Carol. Though it was an incredibly long show, I still found myself getting more and more stoked for the games as each second went on. I really and truly was indifferent to it all up until today. Maybe it just caught up with me faster than I'd expected (like Christmas did to me this time around!) and I hadn't been able to do the whole excited anticipation thing!
It had been a while since I'd spent that much time with my dad and/or Carol. He called me up last night and we set up to go and get a donated chair for my space. (I know, I really don't need another item of furniture, but the kitties sure do appreciate it!) After the furniture shuffle (we ended up transporting some stuff for the Young Woman's Center as well) I opted to stay and enjoy the experience with them... not to mention the much larger view on their larger than 13 inch screen!
