01/VI/01 - Good news, Bad news !?!

Little did I ever realize that all the emotion I encurr simply watching Emergency Vets... would be magnified more than a zillion times the day I had to actually experience any of it myself directly.

I'm a bit of a wreck, I had to take Murray in today because I was worried he was having some "bottom" problems... to make a long story short, I'm going to share the conversation that follwed the appointment, with my co-cat loving pal Alicia:

wait... and see... they're gonna give me a medicine in saline solution to give him drops everyday for a week every other week, and then as needed... to help boost the immune system

and it only costs $15 for a butt lot that last forever since you only give a smidgen! Alicia says:

yeah... and she said that if they had tested him before they let me adopt him they just would have killed him then... so he's been able to live a happy life now and maybe could live a lot longer too... Alicia says:

I just remember when I first got him and he was all sickly, and the cat lady asked me if I wanted to bring him back...

that even then made me cry!
