12/III/00 - pilots of the purple twilight

Last night I finally made it to the high school for The Pilots of the Purple Twilight. I'd meant to go forever, but I was away at Heart Change last weekend, super tired Thursday, and with Levi & Alicia Friday. So last night was the last night, and I made it!

Afterwards I stuck around to help tear down... until 1 o'clock this morning. It was fun though, and it was especially nice to see that almost everyone was actually actively involved in the work that was done. That's not something that usually happens, and don't get me wrong... there were a couple who completely sat back and just observed... Grrrrowl, that chaps my hide! This morning I went to my grandpa's church in White Salmon. There was a dedication of a pair of altar candles, a refridgerator (wow, I can't believe I spelled it right on the first try!), and a microwave in my grandmother's honor. My uncle and cousins were there too, so afterwards grandpas took us all out to lunch at Fidel's (Yum!) I ate so much that I'm still full... and can't imagine eating anything till morning (that's quite a feat for my body!)
