I did it! I really did it! I left my house! After 4 long, excruciatingly drawn out, icky days... I made it to the outside. Still weezing and coughing to chokable levels, but I made it none the less. It really wasn't a huge deal. I just went to breakfast at mom's house. Yes, I had real food: toasted bagels with butter, peanut butter, and raspberry jam; potatos cooked with green onions; scrambled eggs; and scrumpcious, perfectly crisp, bacon. According to Colin it was just right because he had "pan-cro-wave"ed it first before cooking it (it was frozen... and they don't own a microwave anymore, so he had to improvise...)
After breakfast, better said "brunch", Mom took me to get my car from Yolanda. Then I came home, which is where I'm at now! Imagine that!
I guess the only source of heat in my beloved home is one of the Cadet heaters that is being recalled. I guess someone's spit out flames... and Colin's (in his shop) got stuck on and his shop was 100 degrees when he went in! Yikes! So Chuck (who I rent from) cleaned out my heater... I didn't know I was supposed to do that. I didn't even know anyone was supposed to do that!
Chuck also gave me a base board type space heater to use in case I don't feel comfortable leaving to other one on (like at night when I'm here, but sleeping). Plus, he noticed the light on the stairs is out (it's been out since the day I moved in. Ed and I just learned how to count how many stairs there are... to get in with out tripping). So he's gonna replace it. Woo Hoo!
