9/XI/99 - great expectations
| Last night Ed was supposedly coming by. At least that's what I deducted since on Sunday he had said he'd be coming Monday. I at first thought for sure he'd go there during his offsite to avoid any and all posibilites of running into me. But when he didn't go during the day, I figured he'd put his pride aside for a moment, suck it up (at least to get his e-mail) and stop by. Maybe he was busy with school, play practices, and all the other time filling activities he can come up with. Or maybe he is actually pulling off his "I want to have nothing to do with you right now" act! Either way, he never showed. |

Good thing Ed was a no show, because I had really wanted to post an entry, read, etc. Yesterday I got a new member (okay, I admit it... my first member: Congrats!) on my notification list, so I actually had to notify the list when I finished my entry. I'm also signed up on the list [obviously], but I never recieved the notification I sent out. I hope it was just a one-list fart or something, rather than me being totally disfunctional! We'll see how it works today!
This Thursday Canela, MD and I are going to see Deliriou5! in Salem! I'm so psyched, it's going to be a blast! I don't have to work that day, since it's veteran's day. So we'll head into Portland earlier to hang and eat first, then it's off to Salem for the show! A bunch of people from church are going to be there too, but they're going straight from the Amber Rose Conference they're attending in Portland tomorrow through Saturday.
I'm glad MD decided to come. He's fun to hang out with and I don't have to worry about "taking care" of anyone (they are both extremely responsible, yet wonderfully balanced by fun!) I had hoped Ed might contemplate coming. But as you might deduct, he didn't even let me finish inviting him before he answered with a demeaning "No!". MD was going to check and see if he could get him interested in joining us. I've yet to hear of any results of that encounter, or if it even occured. That God's Will be done is all I ask (I lean towards wanting more than that, but I know better now-a-days).
