7/XI/99 - marathon mom
| What a total weekend! I might go into more detail about it tomorrow, but right now, I'm just trying to catch up on everyone else's lives (note: my huge list of read journals this time...) Please excuse yet another lamely short little ditty of an entry. |
there's more where that came from...
Yesterday my mom called me at what I'd consider the butt crack of dawn for a Saturday. She was bored being home alone, so she invited me to breakfast... and the rest of the day. We had a major lush brunch at the Hood River Hotel. Then we went to Movie House and she went on a movie renting rampage. We walked out of there with 5, count 'em five movies!
Yesterday my mom and I watched the first three: Muppets From Space (Gonzo finds out where he's from), The Theory of Flight, and The Confession (way too long and drawn out!). Today we took the last two, Tango (mostly dancing, slow storyline) and Central Station (an amazingly good movie!), to my dad's to watch with them since they were in spanish and portugese respectively.
I'll get more into it tomorrow, I really want to do some catch up journal reading, I haven't been on-line since thursday!
