Manky's Agenda: October 20th, 1999

Yet another survey I can’t help but fill out! I guess Abeyance made it up using various surveys floating about by e-mail. I was reading her journal (even thought she’s one of those anonymous journalers) and she had filled out the survey herself. Here goes...
    Sex:
Nope! Haven’t done it, and won’t until I’m married... oh, by the way, if you were asking of my gender. I’m female, and I tend to only be attracted to males!
    Home:
They say it’s where the heart is. Well mine’s kinda half scattered (or better said, "splattered”) all over the place, and half hidden way down deep inside of me so as not to be hurt by anyone... if you’re talking location, a.k.a. dwelling place, that would be a nice studio-type apartment above someone’s garage, kinda out in the boonies of Hood River, Oregon. [hate to say it, but these subjects are very open ended to the common exaggerator like me!]
    Eyes:
Of fire (sorry guys, I can’t help it! *giggle*)! Actually, their brown.
    Hair Color:
In years past it’s been many a color: burgundy, purple... but now it’s back to my natural blonde roots (I’ve even got the eyebrows to prove it!) Hate to admit it, but it’s turned into quite a dirty-blonde of late.
What do you think about Ouija boards?
they are wrong, and that’s all the notoriety they deserve!
Your favorite TV shows?Favorite board game:
Right now, I think it’s Risk, with Scrabble (or UpWords) at a close second!
    Favorite magazine:Favorite smell:
Stetson. You could put it on the ugliest guy alive and I’d sit next to him just to smell it!
    Worst feeling in the world:
Being brushed off, or even worse ignored, by a friend
    Best feeling in the world:
Those wonderful, full of warmth and genuity, hugs that only come around every once in a while... but linger in your memories!
Favorite thing to do on the weekends:
Other than sleep in? Gather with friends to play games of all sorts!
Favorite soundtrack:What is the first thing you think of when you wake in the morning?
First off, I’m sure glad she clarified "when you wake up in the morning" 'cause when I wake up in the evening I’m thinkin’ a whole swarm of different things. (Just kidding!) Back on track here: First thing that runs across my brain is probably ‘can I get away with hitting the snooze button?’
    Do you get motion sickness?
Yes, I’ve come to realize that it’s a control issue. When I drive myself, it’s not a problem. With someone else driving I have to ride shotgun and really pay attention to what’s going on. Although there is one exception, Ed’s driving doesn’t seem to bother me hardly ever. Maybe it’s also a trust thing!
Roller Coaster - Deadly or exciting?
Exciting all the way, keeping in mind the local fair ones do not count!
    Pen or pencil?
Pens, especially cool colors or sparkly ones! Pencils are only meant for math (and sometimes not even then) or CrossSums [the best puzzles ever invented!]
How many rings before you answer the phone?
My apartment is so small it’s usually only one, unless I think about it.. then two. With my cell phone I try to see who’s calling. If it’s someone I know is calling long distance, I won’t answer... I’ll call them back (they know about this, it’s a well formulated plan) since it’s not long-distance for me!
    Future son’s names:
Obviously I’ll have to consult with the father (who is still MIA... you out there some where?). But I’ve always been enamoured with Jedidiah. It means “the one God loves”
    Future daughter’s names:
As noted above, consultation would occur. Which would hopefully also cause some inspiration since Amancay and Canela are hard names to follow.
    Favorite foods:
I’m on a Macaroni & Cheese with little slices of Cheese Dogs kick. Those new Chalupas at Taco Bell are the bomb. Milanesa con papas fritas, canelones, or anything else Oma makes is delish. That ‘pile of panqueques’ thing Emma makes whenever I visit them in Buenos Aires is so scrumptious. Oh, just cabbage, or tomatoes, cut just right with oil, vinegar, and salt could be a complete meal in my book! Noodles, oodles of noodles, I can’t ever get enough. Pesto, or anything with tons of garlic for that matter, on bagels, pizza... noodles! Shall I go on? If you insist! I almost forgot about Oma’s puré con hamburguesitas y salsa marron, ¡que rico! NYC’s cheese steak subs can’t be beat... they almost lost their standing at Harvest Fest though, no lettuce, mayo, or anything... just meat cheese and peppers. Well, I’ve probably bored you enough with my love for foods. Moving along...
Do you get along with your parents
Sure do! I’m old enough now, to not freak out over everything they say, since it can only have the effect on me that I let it.
    Chocolate or vanilla?
Anyone who knows me should be full aware of the fact the I really don’t like chocolate at all, blech! Vanilla would have to be my choice amongst the two!
Favorite ice-cream:Do you like to drive?
Duh! Do you think I would have taken a job with a 40 minute commute if I didn’t like driving?
Do you sleep with stuffed animals?
Not at present, only because I haven’t gotten off my lazy butt long enough to unpack Super Grover since I moved in. He’s so cool! He used to fly around our room at Desarrollo, he quickly became our mascot of sorts!
What a couple of sissies!Thunderstorms - Cool or scary?
Cool as long as the lightning isn’t simultaneous with the thunder and right outside you window... that’s freakin’ scary. I seriously had to go sleep in the other room, with a friend. I got a lot of slack for it, but it was a necessary measure at the time!
    What was your first car?
Contrary to what some might say, it was the ‘Party Mobile’: a Ford Fiesta
    Favorite alcoholic drink:
      Cidra o Gancia batido
    Croutons or bacon bits:
What kind of question is that? Both!
Favorite poetDo you eat the stem of broccoli?
Yes, Canela eats the flowers, I eat the stems. Somehow the broccoli gene split weird like that!
If you could have any job you wanted, what would it be?
To get paid big bucks just to live my life: hang out with friends, surf the net, write in my journal, sing and dance (for myself) and be merry!
If you could have a tattoo, what and where would it be?
You see, I can laugh at such questions now, ‘cause I got one. Do I hear an ‘ouch!’ out there... right-er-ee! I gots me a tat! It’s an excellent drawing of an amancay on my right shoulder/back. My only advice (actually I’ve got more if you really want it) if you want a tattoo, try to stay away from yellow. It was my downfall, it took him twice as long to get the color to show up! Note: amancays are yellow!
Have you ever been in love?
I can’t say for sure, only time will tell. Love is such a strong word, that is used too freely in my mind.
    What is your favorite Snapple?
      Pink Lemonade, yeah baby!
Favorite movies:Do you type with your fingers on the right keys?
      Nope
    What’s under your bed?
Nothing, sorry to disappoint you. What were you expecting? Skeletons?
    What is your favorite number?
      27
    Favorite sports to watch?
Professionaly speaking: soccer, ¡Vamos River Plate! Other wise, when it comes to Canela I’ll watch anything she’s into: softball started it all out, then came soccer and basketball, finally volleyball. I think she’s decided to have a life outside of sports narrowing it down to just volleyball and softball! Woo Hoo is all I have to say to that!
    What is your dream car?
I like the car I have now, but if I could manage to have another one on the side, it’d be sweet to have a new Volkswagen bug convertible in a purpley-lilac color with baby blue wisps! Is that descriptive enough?
I’ve managed to bore even myself, so I best be on my way for today! I hope somebody’s out there... if you are, join the notify list to hear when I update next, and so I know you’re out there... pretty please!
