Manky's Agenda: October 9th, 1999

| Today went well, it really did. Rachel woke me up around ten (it's okay, I needed to be up anyways) just to make sure I was still meeting her at Ale's game. Good thing she called, of course I had let it totally slip my mind. |
there's more where that came from...
I met her at Westside and we watched Ale's game and listened to Teo say how hungry he was and that we should go... After the game we went by McDonald's and Dairy Queen to get food. We took it to the Children's park and ate it there.
I left there calling all over (Jenny, Miranda, Traci, theater's, etc.) trying to plan something for this evening. I was later reminded that the Madrigals or Chamber Singers or some choir group of sorts (involving Miranda, Traci, and Ed) was siging at the Shalhope wedding tonight. We made our plans around them. Jenny and I would go to The Dalles and those who wanted to and could, would meet us there to see Three Kings at 9:10.
I picked Jenny up at her house. We got gas and cash at the Texaco station. As we were heading out of town, my cell phone rang, it was Ed. They were done at the wedding, and he was at home. We decided to meet at Taco Bell get him some food, and go all togehter in one car.
We got there in plenty of time to see Three Kings as planned. It was an excellent movie, just like Rachel said (she had raved about it all morning). The music was cool, I'm sure the soundtrack is the bomb. I want to get it.
Speaking of soundtracks, we were listening to the Drive Me Crazy soundtrack in my car on the way there. When we got back to Taco Bell Ed asked if he could borrow it. Just for the record, he still has my Fatboy Slim cd which I miss dearly.
By the way, last night went well also. Everyone came as planned. Although, with Ed it took a little prodding. It seems as though in the midst of all his "money making" (for the trip to Scotland) running the espresso cart at the school, he lost track of any and everything. He eventually did make it, better late than not at all.
We played ultimate Uno (I think that's what they called it) and then Brian and Jason played some guitar. Everyone except Jay and myself played some game on my computer. Then everyone went home at a pretty decent hour, since we had all been up until ungodly hours the night/morning before!
