Manky's Agenda: November 20th, 1996

Okay so I was messin' with the computer the other day and screwed up the system. So I tried to fix it... Just now, I reinstalled (or attempted to) Microsoft Plus! Needless to say, som'n didn't work right! Why? Why, you ask... I haven't the foggiest! This is only the mildest of my problemas. Yet they are all way too many to tell!

It snowed for the first time this year and took us all by a mega surprise! We were quite unawares as to the forthcoming storm. And boy was it a STORM! Snow everywhere, power surges, outages (not here Praise God!), phone lines down, trees falling, no school, no work, (no internet, but that was my fault... not the strom!), no cable, nut'n. But it was awesome to just stay @ home and yap on the phone w/some friends. Talkin' 'bout nut'n in particular and havin' a complete bawl! It was the bomb, man, da bomb! (I'm in a funky lingo mood today, can you tell?) Aside from my "lack of internet" bitterness, I had a small run-in w/David... It seems as though my friend is bothered by my insight upon his schedule. (He's freaked by me knowing where he is and when almost constantly, since he doesn't remember telling me any of it, and even his parents don't know his schedule that well!) After a bit of my confusion in trying to explain it away I think we were both left even more confused. I prayed it over, talked to Peggy and called him back to explain and apologize with much more clarity. His response: "Okay. Um, I have to go pick up my s, so... Bye." I almost couldn't believe it! Oh well, I guess I can't expect too much. I just pray that the whole ordeal won't sour him towards me @ all! Well I'm off to Youth so buh-bye now! God Bless!
