| "Uh-oh... Spaghetti-o's" would be a good expression to use right now. It's seems as though little ole me has made a big time boo-boo... I was uninstalling my Global Network Navigator stuff (I signed on for the free month trial and canceled it Friday night) and Somehow I messed up our local ISP connections. Microsoft Plus! Is nowhere to be found, so our configurations are all unfound. So I can't log on until I fix it! |
Today Stan (the Youth Pastor candidate formerly known as "David Keleher") and Stacey were @ church and there were cookies and punch afterward to talk to 'em. I ended up talking quite a bit with them as well as the new Sunday School teachers (with whom I'll never be able to have class, due to schedules and my trip to Argentina) and a teeny bit with Steve Fowler (his last Sunday is next week and I won't be able to be there [I'm going to Bible Temple w/Bob and Peggy] so I wanted to say a quick goodbye and update on my situation.) It was really nice, I'm beginning to really feel more a part of the body in general, as opposed to just another face in the "youth" crowd!
I haven't heard anything from David about the card nor the CD I left him in his car yesterday (boy was that an episode, he wouldn't give me his keys to go out and leave it in his car [talk about mistrust,] in the end he removed the car key from the entire ring and gave me just that key... what a "stain!") Most of all I wonder if he'll even ever mention it, or if he even opened it yet (gee, I would've ripped it open imediately... if I were a cat I'd be dead by now!)
Today I am 3 years old! It's my b-day of sorts. 3 years ago I accepted Jesus into my life as my Savior, Guide, and most importantly... Best Friend! He changed my life dramatically from that point on, I am not even close to the person I was three years ago (and that has way more to do with God than to do w/time!)
"Random Thought"s are something I thought up (what a pun!) last night w/Roxanne. I just kept going off on anything that was totally out of context. So be forewarned that I may add a few in my WebAgenda every once in a while!
It was really nice to be able to talk to Roxanne again. She's got a lot going on in her life and I was clueless to it all! She's gone thru a lot lately and had quite the hard time (as have I.) I think we both just needed to have someone listen to us ramble on and on about our unimportant issues of obsession (we obviously talked about our recent rants and raves on local hotties... we had a complete bawl!) We were @ Shari's for about 3 hours, 2 of those just yappin' away, no extra food! What a hoot for our waiter!
Tonight I'm going to S.O.S (Seekers Of Souls) Youth @ ALF (Abundant Life Fellowship) 4Square [my old church.] I haven't been for quite some time now, due to other priorities and sickness. I want to see for myself how well things are going and catch up on some of the participants! I'm actually kinda psyched to go. Mostly 'cause I found out last night that a new guy who goes (who I've known for ages, that's the prob w/such a small town) seems to think I have something against him for having gone out with a girl who @ the time was my best friend. As if! I don't sink so! I'd like to set him straight and have him know I've even been praying for him for a while now since I heard of his situation!
