Manky's Agenda: November 1st, 1996

I’ve been a bit busy, not only being sick but doing stuff too! Last night for example, I went to see Carman @ the Rose Garden in Portland. It was beyond awesome! 18, 000 people gathered on Halloween, worshiping God with their all and all! A true "R.I.O.T." It really lifted me up spiritually to a level of worship I haven’t been to in a while! I needed that.

Tonight I had been hoping to go to the football game, but with this cold/flu thang I’ve got going on that’s probably not a very good idea. So I then set my sights on going to see the new movie "Romeo & Juliet" (I’m totally psyched to see it), but unfortunately I’ve not found anyone to go all the way to Portland to see it (it’s not in The Dalles as we had hoped!) Yet I may be in luck, it seems as though my little sis [Canela] wants to see it too, so we’ll go before the Newsboys, Geoff Moore & the Distance, and Plankeye concert tomorrow! I can’t wait! Back tracking a bit, on Wednesday the church had a Harvest Party. The high school and junior high kids were supposed to be helping, but not very many showed up (and my game: the "lucky chair" wasn’t a huge hit) so we (Cory, David and I) went cruising over to the Parker’s to see why Sarah and Erin weren’t there... and after getting no real answer we went back to the church and ended up going with Todd downtown to fill up the bus @ HaveFast. After everything that night I stopped by David’s house and he lent me his Plankeye: Commonwealth CD (I’m listening to it now!) It’s awesome... He won’t get it back until I get my Third Day back from him! Well, I don’t know what else to say. I need to update my prayer lists and hopefully add some more friends to my page!
