Manky's Agenda: November 16th, 1996

| Well, instead of truly exploding over all my pent up crud, I decided to do some "hunting" in Lloyd Center. Not "shopping" but true "hunting". I knew what I was looking for and needed and I went in search of just that. No piddling around what-so-ever. I went alone ( I don't believe David will ever be able to free up his schedule long enough to fit our trip in) and loved it. I need the driving therapy big time! |
there's more where that came from...
Somehow driving always help me sort out my thoughts more clearly and let's me relax a bit. Especially the longer drives (such as today's two hours total). First I'll let myself think off some steam, then I'll crank the tunes and let loose some energy and gozo[joy].
Talk about tune-age, I got 8 CDs today @ Christian Supply! For myself I got Three Crosses' new album "Jefferson Street", Christafari's new one "Valley Of Decision", PFR's newest (and last ever), "Them", and Out Of Eden: "Lovin' The Day" (I can't wait until November 29th when they come out with "More Then You Know"!)
I also got some for others. Steven Curtis Chapman's "Signs Of Life" for Lu in Argentina, Bleach: "Space" for Katy, Geoff Moore & The Distance's "Home Run" single for Nela (ever since the concert, every time she's in my car and it comes on she begs me to leave the car on 'til it's over when we stop!), and Third Day for David (he's had my CD forever, so I figured he might appreciate the gesture!)
I also wrote David a card, attempting to not only make amends for my annoyancy, but to explain it out a bit as well. More than anything it left me with a clear slate, feeling very well accomplished and w/o blemish in the situation! I doubt it was understood or even considered, but for me it worked wonders (I think that was the point!)
I must plug these two amazingly amusing sites I found the other night (I do believe it was last night in fact!) The anagrammer and the ambigrammer (oops, looks like I didn't practice good bookmarking habits, and overlooked bookmarking that one!) I had a blast messin' w/'em both, hope others will go to them too!
God Bless, and good night!
